Job Details

The Manager, Pricing and Demand will be responsible for the overall yield performance of assigned Seabourn cruise products.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for communicating product announcement of various destinations to the market place.

  • Liaison with marketing communications confirming that proper sailings and pricing are featured in various communications.

  • Lead the strategic pricing and sourcing assumptions for the Seabourn product.

  • Analyze competitive pricing, analyst price changes and performance to pace to ensure that optimal yield is achieved on each sailing.

  • Make recommendations for large promotions. Liaison with sales and marketing communications to bring promotion to market.

  • Provide analysis on deployment changes, manage itinerary changes and make recommendations for guest compensation when needed.

  • Provide sales and marketing training for assigned product.

  • Manage website content for Seabourn.com to ensure pricing is clearly communicated.

  • Provide additional analysis as requested in preparation of the monthly forecasting and annual budget process for Net Ticket Revenue.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing; Master's Degree preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant Marketing/Finance experience

  • Advanced analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Knowledge of SQL, PowerPivot, BI

  • Ability to work and coordinate with other departments

  • Ability to manage several projects on an ongoing basis and meet tight deadlines

  • Comfortable with public speaking

  • Experience in travel industry is desirable
